1st Retreat of the research unit miTarget

The 1st miTarget Retreat was held as a virtual event on April 28 and 29, 2022. After status presentations of the projects included in the research unit the participants had the opportunity to hear an interesting talk by guest speaker Prof. Mathieu Groussin on “Evolution of host-microbiome systems in humans”. Additionally, we heard three pitches for new project ideas for the next funding phase.

Afterwards we devoted ourselves to the discussion of the progress in the research group. For this purpose, we were happy to welcome three renowned scientists from the Scientific Advisery Board for a joint discussion ending with the planning of the second funding phase of the research group.
