Andre Franke is the speaker of the RU 5042 miTarget and principle investigator of project 1. He holds a W3- professorship at Kiel University and is one of three directors of the Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology. He leads the Genetics and Bioinformatics Subgroup of the institute and is responsible for the high-throughput facilities (including the data analysis and management teams) in the Centre for Molecular Biosciences (ZMB). He also serves as the speaker of the DFG Research Training Group 1743 Genes, Environment and Inflammation.
