Prof. Ng Siew Chien

Ng Siew Chien is an Associate Dean (Research) and Professor in the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She is also the Director of the Microbiota I-Center (MagIC) and Associate Director of the Centre for Gut Microbiota Research. With expertise in IBD, fecal microbiota transplantation, colorectal cancer, and the gut microbiome, her research focuses on the epidemiology, genetics, pathogenesis, and treatment of IBD, as well as the role of gut microbiota in health and disease and microbial therapeutics.
