Cluster of Excellence: Precision Medicine in Chronic Inflammation (PMI)

Main goal of the Cluster of Excellence is to decipher the molecular basis of chronic inflammatory diseases and to fully identify metabolic and signaling pathways as an approach for therapies and prevention.

The cluster is a joint undertaking of the Universities of Kiel and Lübeck together with the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, the Leibniz Research Center Borstel, the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology, Plön, and the Muthesius University of Arts in Kiel.
